PHILOSOPHY

While studying mathematics, I became inspired by the greatest physicist of the twentieth century: Albert Einstein. I particularly admire how he used deduction and the Pythagorean theorem to arrive at the special theory of relativity. But Albert also proved to be deeply socially engaged and morally conscious. His statement:
“Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value”
therefore expresses the philosophy of Be-Value.
Today’s society has a strong tendency to measure success by the amount of money or possessions someone has. Be-Value’s philosophy places greater value on respect and moral values. When we pursue success alone, our focus is inward, directed at ourselves (“What’s in it for me?”). When we strive to provide added value, our focus is outward, directed at someone else (“What can I do for you?”).
The name Be-Value thus gains a deeper meaning as well, in addition to being a playful reference to its history.
